When you Reach a Dead End
Sometimes you reach a dead end. What you’ve been pursuing doesn’t pan out. The person you’ve tried to connect with isn’t interested. You don’t get the grant you worked so hard on. The job opportunity doesn’t come through.
When you reach a dead end, it may be better to stop. That is not a bad thing. There needs to be time for energy to rearrange and
things to come into place: people, understanding, perspective.
It’s not a bad idea to take a break at a dead end to give the
terrain time to shift.
During this time, be very open to new possibilities that present themselves.
Be open to new perspectives and new directions.
